What is the Triple Tertian Trainer?
Before answering that question, we must explain the term Tertian. From the Latin, tertianus, which means “of or concerning thirds”, tertian basically means positioning notes (pitches) in groups of threes or thirds. This results in three note simple chords called triads. These triads become the building blocks of all chords.
The Triple Tertian Trainer has three steps, hence the “triple”, and will have the student reciting chords effortlessly and without hesitation – an asset to the collegiate music theory student, or the beginning instrumental or vocal student who wants a solid chordal foundation.

“Triple Tertian Trainer has allowed me to successfully recall and implement seemingly hard music theory concepts in quick, practical ways that are understandable even to non musicians.
Thanks to the Triple Tertian Trainer, I was able to complete the music theory rwork necessary for passing the ABRSM Grade 8 classical guitar exam, being awarded the ARSM diploma, and even playing within a college jazz band.”
Reese Barksdale, ARSM
